Terresa Ferruccio, Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T)

Terresa Ferruccio, Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T) Originally from Southern California, Terresa joined our team at Core Results Physical Therapy last year, with over 15 years experience in the physical therapy field. She graduated cum laude with a combined Bachelor of Science and Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from Loma Linda University in 2002 and finished her education with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008, from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1994. She is currently licensed in Georgia, Nevada and California. Her knowledge encompasses the fields of Orthopedics, working closely with athletes, general population and the elderly, taking care

of their injuries with emphasis’ on Spinal Rehabilitation.  In addition she has vast knowledge in Hand Rehabilitation Therapy, which she spent over two years working closely with a CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) and a renowned Hand Surgeon. She also has many years of experience in Orthopedics, and became a Director of Physical Therapy for an outpatient clinic. She also has experience with elderly patients, as she is a certified Geriatric Specialist and has worked with workman comp patients, as well as Medicare patients.

In order to stay current with new technology, Terresa is certified in Cold Laser Therapy. She has experienced great success with Cold Laser treatment for a variety of patient injuries and conditions.

Terresa has been an athlete most of her young life and has helped mentor her three children in sports. Her love for sports brings a huge advantage to our clinic. She moved to Marietta, Georgia in 2006 with her husband and three children, and has assisted in sports therapy treatment for a variety of athletes on her son’s football team at Walton High school.
